I really don't like that song that much... I just like that line.
It makes me feel like I'm in control of my life.

period.
And that feeling is glorious.

Your lucky to be able to have that feeling... your lucky to be eightteen...
It's not because I'm eighteen that I feel in control, sweetie.
If anthing being eighteen makes me feel ovewhelmed and small in comparison to the rest of the world.
your right but being eighteen means your parents no longer have a hold on your life and they can no longer harass you.
I feel like i have no say in my life and I hope being eighteen will change that.
