So....here's more of my random thoughts

...so...you know how the majority, if not all, of the Christian Religions teaches that Jesus was perfect? The WWJD messages and the strife to be Christ like in all aspects of our lives....well, I've had sort of conflicting beliefs on these things. While I believe yes we should be the very best people we can be and not take the gift of redemption and repentence for granted, which Jesus amptly demonstrated through his time on earth... how can you strife to be like something that you know is unattainable...why reach for the unreachable? With that said...Is it so hard to believe that Jesus Christ was a man... and had the same temptations that we go through everyday of our lives? I feel that Jesus's main purpose on earth was to be a testimony to the power that God has over life and death in this world, as well as demonstrate that no matter what trials we suffer here on earth we have the ability in ourselves to overcome those obstacles. The belief that Jesus was a man for me makes things in my life so much easier to deal with..........aaaannnd I'm spent.

ok ok, I realize that attempting to have inteligent conversations with you in person when I'm sober is sometimes hard, but I'm going to try right now anyways... heh heh...

for some people, jessy, believing that christ is divine is difficult to understand, for others of us it's easier to picture him that way from what our religions teach us. our whole belief is that christ came to earth in order to be that perfect example in which to style our lives striving for. we want to be like christ because he was the closest thing to perfect on this earth, and by striving to be like him constantly (although unattainable perfection may be), we can always find something of our actions to improve upon to better ourselves in the long run. yes, christ was a man on this earth, but afterwards...? and who's to say that we can't be like him then? and yes, I do believe that everyone has all forms of temptations thrown at them in everyday life, including christ. the only reason that some people believe otherwise is because "he was the son of god on this earth... blah blah..." and that he was only good enough to experience extremely tough temptations such as meeting with the devil face to face. but NO! duh! (pardon my whitney) EVERYONE is tempted, NO ONE is exempt. it's inevitable.

but I do agree with your opinion of christ being a testimony and a demonstration though, very nice.

...I love you jessy! hehehe

You people make me sick. Why can't you be perfect? And how will you ever get to perfect if you say you it's impossible? What, did Jesus not repent? What kind of a role model would he be if he preached stuff that he never had to practice? "oh, well I'm perfect. But you can repent, it works, trust me." How could we trust him if it's something he never tried? Obviously there are things to ponder about here. ...hmmm...

I don't know. psh. Probably never will.
